PERSONAL

Dee Smith is a Florida native having been born in Coral Gables, and raised in central Florida. As a child she was always interested in homes, decorating, landscaping, and helping people. So it was a natural step for her after studying marketing & design at The Lakeland Institute of Fine Arts, and Business at the Lakeland Business Institute to go into the housing industry.
In 1978 she studied Real Estate at the Burt Rogers School of Real Estate, and received her licence in 1979.
Current hobbies of hers include investing in real estate, volunteering in the community and with various church programs and organizations and auto racing ... as a spectator. She has been once appointed and twice elected member of the Parish Pastoral Council at her church, and is a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, and All Children's Hospital Guild. She regularly contributes to St. Vincent de Paul, The Children's Miracle Network, All Childrens Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Feed the Children, Metropolitan Ministries, Habitat for Humanity and her church.
She has three children, two grand children, and has been happily married to John T. Smith since 1981.
